"I have had this property on my travel wish list for a while and I am so happy that we finally got to stay at the Amado. The entire property is beautiful and I did not want to leave. It's got a swimming pool, fire pit, lounge chairs, tables, BBQ grill, parking, etc. We stayed in Unit 2 and it was awesome.”

"If AirBnB has a mentor program for their hosts, I’m sure Gretchen is at the top of the list. It’s obvious she’s an experienced and talented host given her attention to details ensuring a relaxing and positive stay for guests. My first impression of the space: Iconic Palm Springs. From the orange front door to the overall architecture and the beautiful big pool - you just know you’re in PS. But it’s the small details that matter. All I needed to do was unpack and start enjoying the sun. Gretchen has included everything you need including high quality products in the bathroom. The rooms are designed so that they’re totally functional and EASY to maintain. Bed was comfortable and WiFi was adequate. Communication with Gretchen and her team was fast and always positive. I really appreciate a host who checks in with you to make sure you have everything. And Gretchen went beyond that with a very cool surprise. Location - great. I like to cycle so I rented a bike from Bikes PS and cycled to downtown and enjoyed the huge selection of restaurants and some shopping. I also found an inexpensive but good spa - Raphael’s - for a strong 90 minutes sports massage. Ask for Kevin - he was awesome. Morning coffee - Koffi. Try the matcha soy latte. I also walked most mornings and enjoyed the surrounding neighborhoods. Met fellow walkers and everyone was very friendly; as were the other guests at the AirBnB. In sum - a great AirBnB experience in beautiful PS.”

"We had a fantastic 5 week stay at The Amado! This was the perfect getaway to disconnect and relax by the pool. The AC was very strong, the pool was clean, and the location was unbeatable. Gretchen and her team were excellent with communication, always getting back to us promptly if we needed anything at all. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a temporary home or extended vacation!”

"If you haven't been to The Amado, you don't know what you're missing out on - it's a beautiful property, clean, quiet, and private - which are all big pluses in my book! The units are lovely, and stocked with everything you'll need for your stay - and if you need anything additional, the grocery store/pharmacy is literally 5 minutes away. Gretchen & team have been an absolute joy to work with - super communicative and all-around good humans! If you're looking for super cool hosts and an awesome place to stay while in Palm Springs, I would highly recommend checking this property out, it will quickly become one of your favourites :) ”

"My travel partner and I came down for a quick weekend getaway and were very pleased to have chosen The Amado! Her property was a good example of unique Palm Springs architecture and we loved how she provided retro furniture/decor pieces and informative coffee table books of that era. Given the great location-ability to zip to downtown, grocery store, and drugstore- it was an exceptional value for us at the time we booked! We particularly loved the shower and the dispenser of body wash, shampoo conditioner and the thick towels!”
